For the design, I started with a drawing of a house in Brynford North Wales completed in the seventies and gradually decided on a cold winter's day. The roof is made smooth to suggest compressed snow in contrast to the sky, which was granulated to show a sky heavy with snow.

My name is Gillian Owen and I adore creating art. Each picture develops from somewhere in the ether and then is born. Some works are colorful some are monochromatic and they cover a range of themes from abstract dinosaurs, scent bottles, and oil landscapes. I have several oil paintings and drawings in private collections and have exhibited with the SWA and Pastel society in London. I have one gallery here with open prints for sale, the rest are signed limited editions of original works which come with a certificate of authenticity.
